Job Description
A.S Degree or Technical School, or military training - Electrical/Electronics.
Minimum 1-4 years of experience in Test and Measurement technical support.
Summary/Objective: The Applications Support/Inside Sales -
Their primary role will be fielding both sales and support calls providing support. In providing technical solutions for clients using Co'sfamily of test and measurement power
products. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate decent understanding of AC and DC test and measurement power concepts along with both established and modern communication
. Good written and oral comm. Skills mandatory, interfaces (USB, GPIB, LAN/LXi Web based operating systems).
AC, DC, power products. These tasks will range from simple
communication of data sheets and specifications. Post-sales task will include helping customers understand the maintenance, operation
and application of common settings, wiring, and performance characteristics of Co'stest power Products.
A positive first impression is essential. The Applications Support/Inside Salesmust be successful in communicating with the customer while demonstrating a strong desire to satisfy their needs. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to have an organized and consistent approach to collecting relevant data and transmitting responses via telephone and email communications.
Applications Engineer Duties
Ensure all customer related communications are maintained within the corporate Contact Relationship Management tool (currently Salesforce.Com SFDC).
Skills/Qualifications
Demonstrated basic understanding of AC and DC Power and some engineering in Test and Measurement applications.
Familiar with LabView, LabWindows, MS VB/C# and/or Python.
Basic understanding of relevant electrical principals, laws, and properties.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with good analytical skills and business judgment
Ability to resolve customer complaints and issues while maintaining a professional and calm
demeanor.
Strong customer and employee focus skills (listening, empathy, solution-focused).
Ability to interact well with co-workers in all functional areas of the company, good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and share knowledge and experience with other
employees.
