DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints (technical drawings) and written work instructions.
Perform complex parts assembly operations using various tooling, fixtures and hand tools.
Must have experience in mechanical assembly.
Ensuring parts conform to Drawing Specifications.
Participate 5s, LEAN Kaizen and problem-solving team activities.
Must adhere to all the companys safety requirements.
Able to work overtime as needed including weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills
Minimum 2 years Assembly experience in an Aerospace or Equivalent Manufacturing environment.
Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
Must be able to meet documented workmanship standards and pass company sponsored training and certification programs
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Education: High School or GED/Equivalent
Years of experience: 2-year minimum
OTHER PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES OR QUALIFICATIONS (not required):
Six Sigma, 5S and Lean experience a plus
