Job Description


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with Planning and Supply Chain to find alternate solutions to materials to maintain on time delivery.
  • Workwith Quality for FAS review when needed for alternates or new items.
  • Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineering for pilot jobsduring implementation of new product changes.
  • Assist Product Support in provide engineering solutions to customer field issues.
  • Facilitate with Customer Service team on special project requirements to find solutions for the customer.
  • Support production issues related to engineering design.
  • Handle non-conforming material review requests from Supply Chain and Quality.
  • Review vendor change requests and update design data when appropriate.
  • Review supplier identified issues and determine resolution of materials.
  • Implement product improvements across released product families.
  • Create new finished good part numbers for customer orders.
  • Use Infor to manage BOM changes related to product improvements and material availability.
  • Work within SolidWorks to make design and drawing updates when necessary.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree (technical) with mechanical/electrical experience
  • 1+ years of experience in computer software (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Familiar with Bills of Materials.
  • Basic experience with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent)
  • Basic ERP software experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited university
  • Highly proficient with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent)
  • Experience with Infor ERP software
