Job Description
Automation Engineer - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Oceanside, CA Specialist providers of pharmaceutical automation, process and project controls.
Our client is seeking an Automation Engineer with DeltaV and cGMP experience.
What you'll be doing:
Support and improve a DeltaV system, with full DeltaV batch control.
Be involved in every aspect of automation systems management.
Work on continuous improvement opportunities.
Further system development.
Act as a system owner for DeltaV.
Provide design guidance, as well as coordination for multiple system areas.
Logistics of the work:
This is a hybrid role at a large pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Candidates need to be in the Oceanside, CA area or able to relocate there as they will be expected to be onsite at a minimum of once per week.
Requirements:
5 years of DeltaV pharmaceutical experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Knowledge of cGMP guidelines, and experience in the generation of controlled documents.
Practical knowledge of distributed control systems and associated programming languages
Experience with PLC is a plus
