Job Description
The Data Visualization Analyst will play a pivotal role in translating complex data into visually compelling and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports. As part of the software team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, design Tableau dashboards, and deliver insights through data visualization.

- Apply data visualization techniques to deliver visual elements that provide an easy way for audience to understand and digest data patterns.
- Understand data requirements and objectives, and perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create interactive and intuitive Tableau dashboards and reports that enable end-users to make data-driven decisions.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Tableau, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Apply best practices in data visualization to ensure that reports and dashboards are user-friendly and effective.
- Identify and implement optimizations for Tableau workbooks and dashboards to enhance performance and responsiveness.
- Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively navigate and utilize Tableau dashboards.
- Maintain documentation of Tableau reports, data sources, and ETL processes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Provide expertise in Tableau software, industry trends, and best practices in BI and data visualization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience in data visualization and data analytics using Tableau.
- Strong experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Thorough understanding of data analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization.
- Experience with data transformation and data quality tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Tableau certification or additional experience with other visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
