P-DPD-001
Looking for an Electrical Engineer with an Architectural or MEP background.
Ideally with a P.E. Or E.I.T. Certification
Power design
Education/Experience:
Looking for an Electrical Engineer with an Architectural or MEP background.
Ideally with a P.E. Or E.I.T. Certification
Power design
- A growing knowledge of the design of power distribution
- Panel schedules
- Grounding and lightning protection systems
- Coordinates the connections of all power utilization components
- Lighting calculations
- Power load calculations
- Short circuit and voltage drop calculations
- Coordination studies
- Ensures there are complete and accurate construction documents
- Able to utilize and manage design software
- Problem-solving for field oversight including Requests for Information (RFI)
- Shop drawing/Submittal review
- Field inspections and reports
- Monitors work performed by the assigned designers and technicians
- Ensures all project internal and external comments and markups are incorporated into the project's design documents and specifications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Five to eight (5-8) years of relevant experience
