Electrical Engineering Lead - Medium Voltage Infrastructure

Salary: $124, 800-$141, 440
Level: Mid - Senior
Our company has an excellent opportunity for a talented electrical engineer to support medium-voltage infrastructure projects in our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience with:
Medium voltage (2.4kV –35kV) infrastructure design for federal or port facilities, including specification of associated switchgear, transformers, and other related medium voltage equipment. Experience with underground distribution system design, shore power design, and related calculations. Specification and coordination of protective relaying and SCADA systems for medium voltage electrical systems.
Position Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power and Energy Systems
- Registered Professional Engineer license required
- Federal (NAVFAC) or Ports experience preferred
- Minimum 5years experience
- Able to work on electrical infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision
- Experience using AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit
- Prior experience working on federal or port projects. Must be able to access and perform site visitson federal sites.
- Possess strong record-keeping and organizational skills

- Revit a plus
- AutoCAD a plus
Duties:
Pre-Design Engineering
- Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment reports
- Prepare electrical schematic designs
Project Management
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple large size projects involving other senior engineers and subconsultants
- Provide mentorship to design engineers
- Prepare proposals independently for clients
- Demonstrate active development of business with new and existing clients
Construction Administration
- Review and respond to RFI's
- Review equipment submittals
- Perform punch walks and prepare punch list report
