IT Support Technician

Job Description

Our Client is seeking a skilled technician to provide support for bi-weekly visits in Blue Ridge Summit & New Columbia, PA. This role entails 8-hour shifts every Tuesday & Wednesday on an ongoing basis.

  • 2093 Old Route 15, New Columbia, PA 17856 (Wednesdays 8-5)
  • 1455 Old Waynesboro Rd, Blue Ridge Summit, PA 17214 (Tuesdays 8-5)

Candidates must possess reliable transportation and may be required to wear steel-toed shoes, hard hats, and safety glasses on-site. Technicians are expected to be experienced IT Support Resources with proficiency in PC workstation software support, hardware maintenance (including printers, laptops, and workstations), clear communications, and advanced customer support experience.

The technicians will be responsible for managing requests within the following technical areas:
  • Deskside Support Services:
    • Workstation-related incidents
    • Workstation-related applications and software
    • Workstation break-fix
    • Workstation Install, Move, Changes, and Disposal (IMACD)
  • Network Support Services:
    • Assist GAF remote staff with network, firewall, router, and switch-related incidents
    • Changes and Install, Moves, Add, Changes, and Disposal (IMACD)
  • Server Support Services:
    • Assist GAF remote staff with server and systems-related incidents, changes, and Install, Moves, Add, Changes, and Disposal
  • Additional tasks include:
    • Software application & Hardware break/fix support
    • Service Requests & incident and problem management
    • Aid with the onboarding of new hires and provide any other assistance within the skill set of resource ability as required

Supported Products/Applications for this role include: Active Directory, File Services, internet, OFFICESPACE, ServiceNow HR Case Management, SharePoint, VOIP - Contact Center, VOIP - IP Phone / Softphone, VPN, Wireless & Zoom

Required Education:
  • High school/College/Military/Tech School/IT course.
