Job Description

Overview: As a New Product Introduction Engineer, you will play a key role in the seamless transition of new products from the design phase to full-scale production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective processes are in place for the successful introduction of new products.


1. Project Management: - Lead and coordinate the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring all project milestones are met. - Develop and maintain project timelines, identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks.

2. Collaboration: - Work closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to understand product specifications and requirements. - Facilitate communication between different departments to ensure a smooth transition from design to production.

3. Process Optimization: - Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes for new products to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. - Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

4. Quality Assurance: - Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and implement quality control measures during the NPI process. - Conduct thorough testing and validation of new products to ensure they meet quality standards.

5. Documentation: - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the NPI process, including procedures, specifications, and reports. - Ensure that all relevant stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date information.

6. Risk Management: - Identify potential risks associated with the NPI process and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. - Proactively address challenges to prevent delays in product introduction.

7. Training and Support: - Provide training and support to production teams during the initial stages of product introduction. - Address any technical issues or challenges faced during the production ramp-up.


- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in project management, preferably in NPI or a related field. - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. - Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
