Language Ability: Knowledge of the English language both verbal and written.

Summary: Provide support to Principal / Project Architect. Responsible for being a supportive team member in the design phase and leading the design and production teams from design development through constructions administration.

Essential Duties: To organize and coordinate all activities necessary for the completion of assigned projects.
Responsible for compliance with building, zoning and all other governing codes and agency approvals

Responsible for preparation of DD and CD set

Assists with contracts and contract modifications and allocates budgets and schedules

Directs all communication related to the project internally and externally

Supervises and delegates the work of staff, scheduling, and development of documents

Researches and coordinates the selection of building systems, material and products

Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to office standards

Responsible for accuracy of project filing

Coordinates the work of consultants, including checking documents and resolving conflicts between clients, consultants and team members

Responsible for all reprographics

Responsible for finalizing details

Coordinates submittals, review and approval of projects by governmental agencies having jurisdiction

Responsible for close communication with the client, designers, construction document team, consultants, all public agencies, principals and contractors.
Responsible for achieving project profitability and for accurately determining project completeness percentages.
Schedule team meetings when appropriate and monitor progress among all members of the team.

To act as liaison between the principals and the project team and to keep the principals up to date with the status of the projects.

Keep project files up to date in accordance with office standards and procedures.

Obtain Client approvals at critical job milestones.

Responsible for complete and accurate time cards.

Ensure all work is done in accordance with office standards and procedures.

Ensure all work conforms to code requirements.

Maintain close contact with Client to monitor success of project and Client satisfaction.

Active participation in Internal meetings.


Competency: Knowledge of architectural practice including: budgeting, scheduling, design development through construction documents, design specifications;building codes, building materials, building costs and construction techniques.

Responsibilities: Performs project leadership and coordination through the various phases of work
Independently performs most functions and serves as a united voice in a professional manner
Directs communication and manages client's and staff member's day to day needs
Coordinate schedule and budget
Responsible for consistency with office standards and professional practice
