Job Description
The Sales Engineer's primary function is to manage customer opportunities, projects and orders through the sales, engineering, and implementation phases of a project in order to ensure that customer expectations are managed and met and that the company remains profitable throughout a project.

- BS Degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in a sales engineering environment
- Proficiency in Draft Site (CAD) and SolidWorks
- Must have good overall computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in use of ERP systems
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, and other departments
- Willingness and ability to identify opportunities for improvement and make suggestions for change Personality
- Must be highly detail oriented;attentive to accuracy and neatness
- Displays diplomacy and the ability to work effectively with customers and other departments
- Demonstrates cooperation and willingness to take instruction
- High degree of flexibility and willingness to work on a wide variety of projects and tasks
- Displays enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Conveyor experience a plus
- Understand our customers, markets, and solutions
- Understand our internal systems and processes to include all departments
- Work directly with our current Sales Engineer and our customers to develop layouts, propose solutions, and manage expectations
- Work with engineering and operations to develop accurate price estimates and keep our price list updated
- Develop relationships with our cooperative vendors in order to make integration projects go smoothly Work with our external component vendors to understand their product lines and technologies
- Learn our ERP system to obtain accurate solution costs for preparation of estimates
