Overview
Our company is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions for industrial processes. If you have a passion for problem-solving, technical proficiency, and a desire to create impactful partnerships, this position is for you.
Responsibilities
- Automation Solutions: You will be responsible for delivering innovative automation solutions. Whether working independently or leading a team, you'll conceptualize, detail, and implement control systems that meet our customer's requirements. This includes designing control system architectures, selecting components, creating schematic diagrams, and documenting systems.
- Programming Expertise: Proficiency in controller programming languages such as Ladder, Sequential Function Chart, and Structured Text is essential. You'll program controllers (PLC, DCS, RTU) and develop process visualizations (HMI/SCADA). Familiarity with standard programming languages like VBA, .NET, and SQL for HMI/SCADA development is a plus.
- Industrial Networking: For larger systems, experience with industrial networking to connect control system components and instrumentation is preferred. You'll design, detail, and implement various control solutions.
- Customer Interaction: As a Senior Controls Engineer, you'll directly engage with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring successful project outcomes. Building strong relationships and securing repeat business are key indicators of success.
