Location: USA Northwest Region (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, AK, HI) or Canada

Overview: Join our team as a Structural Engineering Professional, where you'll play a vital role in our design team, assisting in the performance of structural analysis and design for various projects. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are crucial as you collaborate closely with your Structural Lead, other Structural Engineers and Designers, and interdisciplinary teams. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
  • Develop judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Ensure attention to detail and quality control in all aspects of work, including checking your own work and reviewing others'.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Manage workload effectively, defining scope, forecasting effort needed, and identifying scope changes.
  • Work in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner with strong attention to detail.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Able to perform field walks, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
  • Position may require work in the local office, at project sites, or remotely from home within approximately 50 miles of the site.
  • May be asked to support work in other offices or client sites, including possible Temporary Duty Assignments.
  • Employee must provide internet service at home to meet project performance requirements.

Qualifications: Minimum:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • MS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering or MS degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
  • Experience in semiconductor industrial or general industrial facilities.
  • Proficiency in STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
