Overview: As a Structural Engineering Professional, you'll play a pivotal role in our design team, contributing significantly to structural analysis and design for various projects. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design with minimal supervision.
  • Exercise judgment in evaluating, selecting, and adapting engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Demonstrate expertise in lateral analysis and design, including application of building code provisions.
  • Ensure attention to detail and quality control in all tasks, including checking your own work and reviewing others' calculations.
  • Take ownership of assigned workload, meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Define scope, forecast level of effort, and identify scope changes as necessary.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
  • Contribute to advancing workflows, systems, and tools within the structural discipline.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Able to perform field walks, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
  • Position may be hybrid/remote, requiring work in the local office or from home within the designated region.
  • May support work in other offices or client sites, including possible Temporary Duty Assignments.
  • Employee must provide internet service at home to meet project requirements.

Qualifications: Minimum:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer License (PE).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading small teams.

  • MS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering or MS degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Structural Engineer License (SE).
  • Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
  • Experience in semiconductor industrial or general industrial facilities.
  • Proficiency in STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.

Note: Candidates must be located within the designated region and should not require visa sponsorship upon conversion to direct hire eligibility.
