Location: USA Northwest Region (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, AK, HI) or Canada

Overview: Join our team as a Structural Engineering Professional and play a crucial role in our design team. You will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design for various projects, collaborating closely with your Structural Lead, other Structural Engineers and Designers, and interdisciplinary teams. This role requires a solid foundation in structural engineering fundamentals, knowledge of US building codes, and a proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Independently perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design.
  • Exercise sound engineering judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure attention to detail and quality control in all aspects of work.
  • Manage workload effectively, taking ownership of assigned tasks and meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers.
  • Embrace emerging technologies and advance workflows, systems, and tools within the structural discipline.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform field walks, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
  • Work may be conducted at project sites, local offices, or remotely from home.

Qualifications: Minimum:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer License (PE).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Structural engineering.
  • Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading small teams.

  • MS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering or MS degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Structural Engineer License (SE).
  • Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
  • Experience in semiconductor industrial or general industrial facilities.
  • Proficiency in STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.

Note: Candidates must be located within approximately 50 miles of a project site in the Northwest Region (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, AK, HI) or Canada. Visa sponsorship will not be provided for candidates requiring conversion to direct hire eligibility.
